So the question is , can I keep my C5v actively connected to the power charger docked in the station all the time. I assume it will not get hot or damaged due to constant charging. It actually happened in one of my older C5 (C2D) that i kept it on the docking station with ac power connected and went on vaccation for 8-10 days.

When i arrived i found that the tablet is not working. Later i discovered that the motherboard for this unit went bad maybe because of an overcharge or some heat up...

Hello guys,
I was just wondering if anyone here was in possession of a factory restore Windows 7 ISO for F5v, they'd be willing to share with me.

Unfortunately I've run into a situation with a failing hard drive recently and now I am struggling with a working, though OS-less tablet

Hi you guys!

I am using the Mc F5 model in my work and I love it!

But last week the startup of the computer began to behave strange. I can't start it with the battery present, neither with a fully charged battery or with the AC adapter plugged in. The only way it starts is when I take out the battery and plug in the AC. Then I can put the battery back again and everything works fine. Hoewer it is a big problem for me not being able to start the computer without AC plugged in when I am...

While upgrading the ram on my cheap ebay C5V (and seeing if I could seal the leaking screen....) I noticed the USB port in the F5V location hidden behind the plastic of the case.

I plugged a usb key into it and powered the tablet up with the back off and, it worked. So I went and cut a USB key shaped hole in the side over this port and almost have a white F5V... just missing the touch screen

Has anyone else case modded their white C5V to make this usb port accessible?

1920 x 1080 (HD screen) - LE1700 was 1400 x1050.
Touch and Pen input.
9 hour battery
less than 3 lbs.
Front and Rear camera.
Bridge Battery

Anyone know if you can "turn off" capacitive touch (finger) and just use the Wacom digitizer (pen) ?
I almost never want to use my finger and don't like my palm giving me trouble.

I see my beloved Motion LE1700 tablets are dwindling in supply.
And I keep breaking mine ! So the buying cycle continues.

Anyone still using their Motion LE1700 ? or another motion tablet ?

Hello again. I've been looking for some "cintiq alternatives" and i just found out about these little tablets.

I've done some research, but i still can't decide between these five along with their prices:

J3400 with 2gb ram: 230-250 euros aprox.

LE1600 with 1gb ram: 170-180 euros aprox.

LE1700 with 2gb ram: 170-180 euros aprox.

M1400 with 1gb ram: 140-155 aprox.

M1300 with 1gb ram: 125 aprox.

I'm going to use it exclusively for art (SAI is the only...

Deciding between these for Art/Drawing. Which one?
